As we enter the fourth month of the school year we realize how much work and meetings we've had to collaborate as equal partners to support the academic and social success of your child/children. We thank all families that have met with our teachers during our Open House and Parent/Teacher conference to discuss student achievement and pick-up the report card. Those parents that did not meet with your child's teacher on Tuesday, December 10,2008 during the required meeting must call the school and schedule an appointment. Parents that have supported the school uniform policy or met with the school administration to apply for uniform exemption we thank you for your action. Those parents with children without school uniform must make a decision to support the school uniform policy or apply for uniform exemption. Our Parent Teacher Association continues to meet and work to support our students and teachers. We commend them and ask you to join the P.T.A. and attend their meetings to support their goals for this school year. As we enter the winter holidays and begin a new year we reaffirm our commitment to reach out to all families and welcome their ideas, recommendations and support. Remember to have your child/children finish their academic holiday packet. Together we can support our students to meet or exceed the New State Education Department student achievement targets. On behalf of all our School 13 staff have a healthy holiday season and a prosperous new year.
